THE COMMONS BARBERSHOP FAQs

  • Putting your card info into our system is a level of insurance on our end that ensures that our barbers will get paid whether a client shows up or not.

  • Absolutely not. Every detail of your card is encrypted, and we have no access to it. If you were to miss an appointment without notice, we can only press a button that will then charge our no-show fee.

  • According to our cancellation/no show policy, if you do not give us ample notice that you won’t be able to attend your appointment, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee. We may be a busy shop, but that doesn’t guarantee that we will be able to fill that barber’s schedule and they end up losing potential money. It is both our and your responsibility to show up to appointments on time.

  • We like to say that “if your child is able to act like a gentleman, then we’d be happy to make him look like one.” We love having kids in our shop, but we’d prefer not to have to cut a kid who isn’t ready for a haircut. We ask that if a child is unable to sit on their own without a parent, that they not come to our shop. Children who are unable to sit still in the chair will not be cut, as it can become a safety issue for the child and a comfort issue for our other guests.

  • We prefer to not call it “men’s” or “women’s”hair, but rather “long” and “short” hair. We absolutely do not discriminate based on gender, but we do specialize in short hair cuts and styles.

  • We do! And we love it!

  • We love pets more than just about anything, and while we’d love to meet and cuddle with your furry friend, we are a pet-free barbershop — mainly for the comfort and safety of all of our guests. Service animals are more than welcome.
